Buying a bike in Pakistan — a complete guide
Buying a bike is a bigger decision than buying a helmet or a set of lights. The right bike depends on where you’ll ride, how often, what you want to achieve, and how much you’re willing to invest. This guide walks you through every category we stock and helps you understand which type actually fits your life.
Start with how you’ll use it
The biggest mistake new buyers make is choosing a bike based on how it looks rather than how they’ll ride it. A racing road bike with drop handlebars is fast and beautiful — but if you’re commuting through Lahore traffic with a backpack and need to look around, a flat-bar hybrid or fitness bike will serve you better. A full-suspension mountain bike feels exciting in the showroom but is overkill for paved roads and adds 5 kg of unnecessary weight to your commute. The simple framework: road and gravel bikes for fitness and distance; hybrid and city bikes for daily commuting; mountain bikes for genuine off-road; kids bikes sized to age, not aspiration.
Frame size is the most important spec
No other detail matters as much as getting the right frame size. A bike that’s too small feels twitchy and uncomfortable; a bike that’s too big is dangerous and hard to control. Every bike we sell includes a size guide based on your height and inseam, and our specialists can confirm the right size over WhatsApp before you order. If you’re between sizes, generally go smaller for a more aggressive position, or larger for a more relaxed one.
Frame material — what actually matters
Aluminum is the right choice for 90% of buyers. Light enough, durable, affordable, and refined enough at any price point above ₨80,000. Carbon fiber matters at the high end — lighter, smoother, more premium — but you’ll pay 2–3× more for the upgrade. Steel is a niche choice for touring and vintage builds. Titanium is luxury-only.
Groupset (gears + brakes) is worth investing in
The groupset is the bike’s "engine" — it determines how smoothly the bike shifts and brakes. On road bikes, expect Shimano Claris or Tourney at entry level (₨50–90k), Tiagra or Sora mid-range (₨100–180k), 105 for serious cyclists (₨200k+), and Ultegra or Dura-Ace for performance. Spending more on the groupset is usually a better investment than upgrading frame material.
Pakistani context — what’s specific to riding here
Road surfaces vary wildly. Even in major cities, potholes, broken asphalt, and gravel patches are common. A bike with 28mm+ tires handles these conditions far better than a 23mm race-bike setup — hybrid and gravel categories are ideal. For monsoon riding, look for disc brakes (mechanical or hydraulic) over rim brakes — wet rim braking is unsafe. For summer heat, lighter frames and proper hydration mounts become non-negotiable.
What’s included with every bike
Every bike ships fully checked, with pre-delivery assembly, a free 30-day tune-up, a 2-year frame warranty, and lifetime expert support over WhatsApp. We’re not a dropshipper — bikes go through our workshop before they reach you.
Frequently asked questions
How do I know what frame size I need?+
Measure your height and inseam, use our size chart on each bike page, or message us on WhatsApp — we’ll recommend a size based on your measurements.
What’s the difference between a road, hybrid, and MTB?+
Road = fast, drop bars, narrow tires, paved roads. Hybrid = upright, flat bars, mid-width tires, mixed surfaces. MTB = wide tires, suspension, off-road terrain.
Do bikes come assembled?+
Yes — 95% assembled. We attach the front wheel, pedals, and handlebars, do a full safety check, and box for shipping. The final 5% is straightforward and we include instructions.
Can I service my bike at your shop?+
Yes — bring it to our Lahore workshop for the free 30-day tune-up, or use a major-city courier. Routine servicing has flat per-visit pricing.
What’s the warranty on bikes?+
2-year frame warranty on all bikes. Components carry manufacturer warranties (typically 1 year). Plus a 30-day crash replacement program.
Can I test ride before buying?+
We don’t have a showroom yet, but you can buy with confidence — 14-day return window for bikes (vs 7 days for accessories) if something doesn’t feel right.
How long does shipping take?+
3–5 business days to major cities. 5–10 days to smaller cities. Bikes ship in bike-safe boxed packaging via TCS, Leopards, or M&P.
Do you offer financing or installments?+
Yes — 3-month interest-free installments via EasyPaisa for orders over ₨50,000. Bank-card installments available through select banks.
