Most adult cranks use a 9/16" × 20 TPI pedal thread, which the Ryden Urban Flat Pedals fit. Some children’s bikes and older one-piece cranks use 1/2" threads: never force a 9/16" pedal into them.
Match the riding
Composite city pedals with molded grip suit commuting and everyday shoes. For technical trail riding, a pinned MTB platform pedal holds the shoe harder.
Look at the platform
A wider platform supports more of the shoe, which helps with stop-and-go riding and soft-soled footwear. Built-in reflectors help you be seen, alongside proper bike lights.
Fit left and right correctly
Pedals are marked L and R. The left pedal has a reverse thread and tightens counterclockwise; start both by hand and grease the threads first.

Do the Urban Flat Pedals have metal pins?+
No. They use molded composite traction points, which grip everyday shoes without sharp pins. For technical trail riding, choose a pinned MTB platform pedal.
What warranty do Ryden pedals have?+
A 1-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. Wear from use and damage from incorrect installation, such as cross-threading, aren’t covered.
