Frequently asked questions
Which racing bike is right for me?+
Match the bike to your discipline. For road racing, choose a lightweight climbing bike like the Race Elite or Carbon X, or an aero bike like the Aero Pro or Velocity; the Sprint is our step up into competitive cycling. The Ryden TT is built for time trials and triathlon, the Terra and Gravel Pro for gravel races, the XC Pro, Enduro X and Downhill Pro for mountain bike racing, the BMX Race for BMX tracks, and the Track Racer for the velodrome.
Do racing bikes need a professional bike fit?+
A professional fit is strongly recommended for the most aggressive positions: the Carbon X, the Ryden TT and the Track Racer. Our other road race bikes use a sporty but sustainable position, and saddle height, fore-aft and tilt can be fine-tuned after assembly.
Can I ride the Track Racer on the road?+
No. The Track Racer is supplied in brakeless competition configuration for velodrome use only. For fixed-gear riding on the street, choose the Fixie Pro or Urban Fix, which ship with front and rear brakes.
Can young riders race on the Junior Road?+
Yes. The Junior Road can serve as an entry-level youth training and racing bike, subject to the equipment and wheel-size rules of the event or cycling organisation.
