Are men’s bikes different from women’s bikes?+
Not at Ryden. Every adult bike we make uses a unisex frame, so there is no separate men’s geometry to look for. What matters is the size: check the size chart on each bike’s page and choose from your height and inseam.
What size bike do I need?+
Most of our adult bikes come in four or five sizes. As a guide, on our road bikes size M fits riders 172 to 180 cm and L fits 180 to 188 cm; on our hybrids, M fits 165 to 175 cm and L fits 175 to 185 cm. If you are between sizes, your inseam decides: a longer inseam steps up, a shorter one steps down.
Which bikes fit riders over 190 cm?+
Most of the range. In size XL, our road, gravel and fixed-gear bikes fit riders up to 198 cm, and the Ryden TT, Downhill Pro, Comfort Ride and Relax go up to 200 cm. See Tall riders for every bike with a size above 195 cm.
Can men ride step-through bikes?+
Of course. Choose a frame style for fit, easy mounting and personal preference, not gender. The Cruiser Classic, Beach Cruiser, Sunset Cruiser, Comfort Ride and Relax come with a step-over or step-through frame, and the EasyRide is a low-step model.
