In size XL, the Ryden TT, Downhill Pro, Comfort Ride and Relax fit riders up to 200 cm. Our road, gravel and fixed-gear bikes and the E-Tour, E-MTB Pro, E-Gravel and E-Adventure go up to 198 cm, and our other mountain bikes up to 196 cm.
Are hybrids and city e-bikes suitable for tall riders?+
Up to 195 cm, yes. Our hybrids, the E-City, E-Urban and E-Commute, and the Metro Fold, Fold Pro and Travel folding bikes fit riders up to 195 cm in their largest size. This page lists the bikes whose largest size goes beyond that.
I am between sizes. Which should I choose?+
Your inseam helps decide: a longer inseam steps up to the larger size, a shorter one steps down. On the Endurance and Gran Fondo the fit is forgiving, because the taller stack and shorter reach suit most riders comfortably.
Do the large mountain bikes use 29-inch wheels?+
Yes. The Trail 100, Trail 200 and Hardtail Series switch to 29-inch wheels on M, L and XL for efficient rollover and momentum for taller riders. The XC Pro, Enduro X, All Mountain and Full Suspension Series use 29-inch wheels in every size, and the Downhill Pro runs a 29/27.5-inch mullet setup.
