The flagship: built around making every kilometre feel easier
The Ryden Relax sits at the top of the Ryden cruiser and comfort collection as a bicycle built around one priority: making every kilometre feel easier. Rather than relying on a single comfort feature, it uses a complete system in which the frame geometry, suspension, tires, saddle, seatpost, handlebars, grips, and drivetrain work together.
Its lightweight 6061 aluminum frame places the rider in a naturally upright position, minimising the need to stretch toward the handlebar and creating a relaxed posture suited to longer periods in the saddle.
At the front, a 63 mm suspension fork absorbs larger imperfections such as broken pavement, potholes, brick paths, and maintained gravel. At the rear, a parallelogram suspension seatpost provides controlled movement beneath the rider; compared with a basic telescoping post, the parallelogram design gives a more refined response while maintaining the rider’s position relative to the pedals. Wide 27.5 x 2.20-inch tires add another layer of cushioning and a planted, confidence-inspiring feel.
The Ryden Relax 7-Point Comfort System comprises: upright frame geometry, the 63 mm suspension fork, the parallelogram suspension seatpost, 2.20-inch high-volume tires, a multi-density comfort saddle, ergonomic palm-support grips, and an adjustable cockpit.
The Shimano CUES 1x10 drivetrain brings modern shifting to the comfort category. Riders have one shifter and one front chainring, keeping operation simple while providing a broad range of gears for flats and hills. Hydraulic disc brakes provide predictable stopping with relatively little lever effort.
Available in step-through and step-over frames across four sizes, it suits long recreational rides, neighbourhood cycling, parks, waterfront paths, paved trails, casual commuting, urban exploration, maintained gravel, rough pavement, and weekend family rides. It is not designed for technical mountain biking, BMX, downhill riding, large jumps, or competitive road racing.

The Relax is the premium flagship. It upgrades the drivetrain, suspension seatpost, tires, saddle, cockpit, weight capacity, and overall component specification.
Does the Ryden Relax have full suspension?+
Not in the mountain-bike sense. It uses a front suspension fork and suspension seatpost designed to improve rider comfort rather than provide technical off-road capability.

Does it have hydraulic disc brakes?+
Yes. Front and rear hydraulic discs provide strong braking with smooth modulation.
Is a step-through version available?+
Yes. Both step-through and step-over versions are part of the Ryden Relax family and are chosen with your size when ordering.

Why choose the Ryden Relax?+

Its upright geometry, 63 mm fork, parallelogram suspension seatpost, wide comfort tires, CUES 10-speed drivetrain, hydraulic brakes, ergonomic cockpit, and high system-weight capacity make it the most sophisticated comfort bicycle in the non-electric Ryden lineup.
