The Ryden E-Adventure is a premium all-terrain electric bike for riders who want to explore beyond the pavement. One bike, every terrain
The Ryden E-Adventure is built for riders who refuse to stay on a single type of road: crossing mountain passes, exploring gravel, commuting during the week, or heading out on cross-country expeditions. It is designed to handle mixed terrain with the confidence of premium electric assistance.
Its hydroformed 6061 aluminium frame uses adventure geometry that combines long-distance comfort with the stability needed for rough terrain. Internal cable routing and the fully integrated Bosch PowerTube battery keep the bike clean and durable, with good weight distribution.
At its heart is the Bosch Performance Line CX Smart System motor, Bosch’s high-torque motor (up to 85 Nm) in its connected Smart System form, delivering strong assistance for steep climbs, technical sections, and loaded riding. The removable 750Wh battery provides exceptional range for long days and multi-day trips.
The Shimano XT 1x12 drivetrain shifts crisply with a wide gear range for climbs and fast descents, and powerful 4-piston Shimano XT hydraulic disc brakes (with a 203mm front rotor) give dependable stopping in any weather. An SR Suntour Mobie air suspension fork with 100mm of travel (and hydraulic lockout) absorbs rough roads and trails, and a dropper seatpost drops the saddle for confidence on descents. Wide 29-inch tubeless-ready wheels with 2.2-inch Schwalbe G-One Overland all-terrain tyres balance efficiency, traction, and comfort across surfaces.
Adventure-ready features include integrated 150-lux LED lighting, full-length mudguards, rear-rack compatibility, USB-C charging, multiple bottle mounts, top-tube bag mounts, and cargo-cage mounts on the fork. Paired with the Bosch eBike Flow app, the Smart System adds GPS navigation, ride analytics, battery diagnostics, security features, and over-the-air software updates.

The difference is terrain focus: the E-Tour is optimised for paved touring and luggage-carrying (road tyres, an included heavy-duty rack, 80mm fork), while the E-Adventure is built for mixed terrain (wider 29 x 2.2" gravel tyres, a longer 100mm suspension fork, and a dropper post for off-road capability). How is it different from the Ryden E-MTB Pro?+
The E-MTB Pro is a carbon full-suspension trail bike (160mm front and rear) built for aggressive technical trails, drops, and descents. The E-Adventure is an alloy hardtail with a 100mm fork, highly capable on gravel, forest trails, and moderate singletrack, but not intended for the aggressive technical riding the E-MTB Pro is designed for. Choose the E-Adventure for mixed-terrain adventure and bikepacking; the E-MTB Pro for serious trail riding.
How far can I ride on one charge?+
With the 750Wh battery, up to 180 km (112 miles) in Eco mode under ideal conditions, with less in higher modes (up to 145 km Tour, 120 km Auto, 95 km Sport, 75 km Turbo). Off-road riding with climbing and loads is demanding, so real range varies widely; see the Range, motor & smart system tab.
Can I install bikepacking bags and racks?+
Yes. The frame and fork have numerous mounting points for frame bags, top-tube bags, panniers, cargo cages, rear racks, and extra bottles. Note the bike is rack-compatible but does not include a rack (a rack is available as an accessory).
Is the battery removable?+
Yes. The Bosch PowerTube battery removes easily for indoor charging or security while parked.
Can I ride technical trails?+
It is highly capable on gravel roads, forest trails, rocky paths, and moderate singletrack, thanks to its suspension fork, wide tyres, dropper, and powerful brakes. It is not intended for downhill or enduro racing; for aggressive technical trail riding, our full-suspension E-MTB Pro is the right bike.
Is it comfortable for multi-day trips?+
Absolutely. The relaxed geometry, ergonomic contact points, suspension fork, and long-range battery are designed for extended adventures and all-day comfort.
How much assembly is required?+
The bike arrives approximately 90% assembled. Final installation of the handlebars, front wheel, pedals, and seatpost is required, typically 30 to 60 minutes. Tools, instructions, and the Bosch CX Smart System and eBike Flow app setup guides are included.
What warranty is included?+
Lifetime warranty on the aluminium frame, 5-year warranty on the Bosch motor, 3-year warranty on the Bosch battery, and 2-year warranty on components (Shimano drivetrain and brakes, electrical components, and the suspension fork, dropper post, wheels, and cockpit).
