The Ryden E-Urban is designed for riders who want a practical electric bike that blends performance, comfort, and modern styling. Whether you are commuting to work, riding across campus, meeting friends downtown, or replacing short car trips, the E-Urban makes every journey easier, and does it with a light, clean, minimalist design.

Its hydroformed aluminium frame houses a fully integrated Bosch PowerTube battery for a sleek appearance and good weight distribution. The upright position keeps you comfortable and visible in busy traffic.

The Bosch Performance Line mid-drive motor delivers natural pedal assistance that feels intuitive, not overwhelming. With up to 75 Nm of torque, hills get easier and long rides take much less effort while keeping the familiar feel of a normal bike. The Shimano CUES 1x9 drivetrain shifts dependably with low maintenance, and Shimano hydraulic disc brakes (with a larger 180mm front rotor for the extra weight and speed of an e-bike) give confident stopping in any weather.

The E-Urban rides on lightweight 700c wheels with puncture-resistant 40mm urban tyres that roll quickly on pavement while smoothing out city streets and bike paths. Integrated front and rear LED lights draw power from the main battery (no separate charging), and full-length mudguards, an adjustable stem, ergonomic grips, and a kickstand make it ready to commute straight out of the box. It is rack-compatible, so you can add a rear rack whenever you need to carry more.

Pedal assistance is provided up to 25 km/h (15.5 mph), the standard for many international markets, and the system can be configured for applicable regional regulations. Where it fits in the Ryden range: the E-Urban sits below our fully-equipped E-City as the lighter, more minimalist electric city bike. Both use the same Bosch Performance Line motor, so you get the same natural assistance either way; the differences are in equipment, battery, and weight. The E-Urban is lighter (22.6 kg vs 24.8 kg), sleeker, and more affordable, with a rigid alloy fork and a clean, minimalist build. The E-City steps up with a larger 625Wh battery (more range), a suspension fork and suspension seatpost (more comfort), an included rear cargo rack (fully equipped), and a higher rider capacity. Choose the E-Urban if you want the lightest, sleekest, most agile e-bike for city riding; choose the E-City if you want maximum range, added comfort, and a fully-equipped commuter.
