The Ryden E-Commute is built for riders who spend real time on the road and want a dependable electric bike that can replace many everyday car journeys. Commuting to the office, visiting clients, shopping, or heading out for a weekend ride, the E-Commute delivers comfort, efficiency, and premium technology.

Its hydroformed aluminium frame uses relaxed commuter geometry for a comfortable, upright position over longer rides, with confident handling in traffic. The fully integrated Bosch PowerTube battery keeps the design clean and the weight low and central.

At its heart is the Bosch Performance Line Smart System, Bosch’s connected e-bike platform. It produces up to 75 Nm of torque for natural assistance from traffic lights, up hills, and into headwinds, with intelligent modes that adapt motor output to your effort. What sets the Smart System apart is connectivity: paired with the Bosch eBike Flow app, you get turn-by-turn navigation, ride statistics, battery management, security features, and wireless (over-the-air) software updates, all through the Kiox 300 display and your phone.

A Shimano CUES 1x11 drivetrain shifts smoothly with durable, low-maintenance components built for high-mileage commuting. Comfort comes from the SR Suntour suspension fork (with hydraulic lockout), a suspension seatpost, ergonomic grips, and a premium comfort saddle, while 4-piston Shimano MT420 hydraulic disc brakes give strong, reliable stopping in any weather, appropriate for a loaded commuter.

The E-Commute arrives fully equipped: integrated 120-lux front and rear LED lights powered by the main battery, full-length mudguards, a heavy-duty rear rack that takes panniers and most commuter accessories, reflective puncture-resistant Schwalbe Marathon E-Plus tyres, a kickstand, a chain guard, a bell, a frame-lock mount, and a USB charging port to top up your phone from the bike’s battery.

Where it fits in the Ryden range: the E-Commute is our premium, smart, fully-equipped urban commuter e-bike, the top of our commuter line. Compared with the E-City (also a fully-equipped commuter, with the same 625Wh battery and suspension fork), the E-Commute steps up with the Bosch Smart System and app connectivity, an upgraded 11-speed drivetrain, 4-piston brakes, premium Schwalbe tyres, higher cargo capacity, brighter lights, and a USB port. Below it sits the E-Urban, our lighter, minimalist, more affordable city e-bike; above the commuters, our E-Tour is the long-distance touring flagship, stepping up to a more powerful CX motor, a larger 750Wh battery, more suspension travel, and touring-specific equipment for loaded, multi-day riding. Choose the E-Commute if you want the smartest, best-equipped urban commuter; choose the E-Tour if you need long-distance touring capability; choose the E-City for a fully-equipped commuter without the smart connectivity; choose the E-Urban for the lightest, simplest, most affordable option.
