Ride farther, climb higher
The Ryden E-MTB Pro is designed for mountain bikers who want to ride farther, climb higher, and tackle more technical terrain without exhausting themselves. Whether you are exploring alpine trails, flowing through forest singletrack, or riding steep rocky descents, the E-MTB Pro delivers confidence and control.
Its lightweight Toray T800 carbon frame uses progressive trail geometry, a slack head angle and long reach for stability at speed, with agile handling on technical climbs. Internal cable routing keeps the bike clean and protects cables from mud and debris.
At the heart of the bike is the Bosch Performance Line CX mid-drive motor, one of the leading e-MTB systems, delivering up to 85 Nm of torque with intelligent assistance that responds naturally to your input. Multiple riding modes let you conserve battery on easier terrain or unlock maximum assistance for steep climbs. A removable 750Wh Bosch PowerTube battery is integrated into the downtube for excellent full-day range.
The premium Shimano XT 1x12 drivetrain shifts dependably under load, and Shimano XT 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes (203mm rotors) provide exceptional stopping power on steep descents. The RockShox suspension package delivers 160mm of travel front (Lyrik Select+) and rear (Deluxe Select+), absorbing technical terrain with ease, and a dropper post gets the saddle out of the way for descending. Tubeless-ready 29-inch wheels with aggressive Maxxis Minion trail tyres maximise grip, comfort, and puncture resistance.
Where it fits in the Ryden range: the E-MTB Pro is our flagship electric mountain bike, a full-suspension carbon trail machine with electric assistance, built for serious off-road riding. It is the trail member of our electric range (our E-City and E-Urban are electric city and commuter bikes for pavement, and our E-Gravel is a lightweight gravel e-bike for mixed surfaces). If you want electric assistance to climb higher and ride farther on technical trails, the E-MTB Pro is built for exactly that. If you would prefer a lighter, non-assisted trail bike, or do not need a motor off-road, our non-electric mountain bikes cover full-suspension and hardtail trail riding across a range of prices, including carbon full-suspension models. The choice between them comes down to whether you want motor assistance on the trail.
Note on trail access: e-MTB access to specific trails, bike parks, and public land is set by local land managers and can differ from the rules for regular mountain bikes; some trails that allow non-assisted MTBs may restrict e-MTBs. Please check the rules for where you intend to ride (see Shipping, Returns & Legal below).

Questions about this product (12)
A (Ryden team): It is designed for trail riders, mountain biking enthusiasts, adventure cyclists, and anyone who wants electric assistance on challenging off-road terrain. It is our flagship electric mountain bike.
Is this a hardtail or full-suspension bike?+
Full-suspension, a premium trail platform with 160mm of travel front and rear (RockShox Lyrik fork and Deluxe rear shock).
How powerful is the motor?+
The Bosch Performance Line CX delivers up to 85 Nm of torque, one of the leading e-MTB motors, built for strong assistance on steep climbs and technical trails. It is a step up from the Performance Line motor on our city e-bikes (75 Nm), tuned specifically for off-road performance.
How far can I ride on one charge?+
With the 750Wh battery (our largest), up to 140 km in Eco mode under ideal conditions, with less in higher modes (up to 110 km Tour, 85 km eMTB, 65 km Turbo). Off-road riding with climbing is demanding, so real range varies widely with terrain, elevation, and how hard you ride; see the Range & motor tab.
Is the battery removable?+
Yes. The Bosch PowerTube battery is integrated into the downtube and fully removable for convenient charging, or to carry a spare on long rides.
Can it handle technical mountain bike trails?+
Absolutely, that is what it is built for. Long-travel suspension, progressive geometry, 4-piston brakes, and aggressive Maxxis Minion tyres make it capable on demanding trails, rocky descents, and technical climbs.
Is it suitable for beginners?+
Yes. Electric assistance makes climbing easier and extends ride time, which helps both new and experienced riders; the motor lets you access trails and distances that might otherwise be tough. That said, it is a capable, aggressive trail bike, so build your skills on the descents as you go.
Can I ride e-MTBs on any mountain bike trail?+
Not necessarily, and this is important to check. E-MTB access to specific trails, bike parks, and public land is set by local land managers and can differ from the rules for regular mountain bikes; some trails that allow non-assisted MTBs restrict e-MTBs. Please check the rules for the trails and areas where you plan to ride before purchase; see the Shipping, Returns & Legal section.
How is it different from Ryden's non-electric mountain bikes?+
The E-MTB Pro adds a Bosch CX motor and battery to a capable carbon full-suspension trail platform, so you get electric assistance to climb higher and ride farther. Our non-electric mountain bikes offer full-suspension and hardtail trail riding (including carbon full-suspension models) at lighter weights and lower prices, without a motor. Choose the E-MTB Pro if you want assistance on the trail; choose a non-electric mountain bike if you want a lighter, non-assisted bike. Our support team can help you decide.
How much assembly is required?+
The bike arrives approximately 90% assembled. Final installation of the handlebars, front wheel, pedals, and seatpost is required, typically 30 to 60 minutes. Tools, instructions, and the Bosch system and suspension setup guides are included.
What warranty is included?+
Lifetime warranty on the carbon frame, 5-year warranty on the rear suspension linkage, 5-year warranty on the Bosch motor, 3-year warranty on the Bosch battery, and 2-year warranty on components (including the suspension fork and rear shock). Full terms in our Warranty Policy.
Why should I choose the Ryden E-MTB Pro?+
It combines premium carbon construction, one of the best e-MTB motors (Bosch CX), long-travel RockShox suspension, Shimano XT components, and trail-ready geometry into a single high-performance package: power, confidence, and durability for everything from local trails to epic mountain adventures. It is the flagship of our electric range.
