Its hydroformed aluminium touring frame uses endurance geometry for an upright, relaxed position that reduces fatigue over long hours in the saddle. The integrated Bosch PowerTube battery sits neatly in the downtube for a clean look and a low centre of gravity.
Power comes from the Bosch Performance Line CX Smart System, Bosch’s high-torque motor (up to 85 Nm) in its connected Smart System form. It makes steep climbs, strong headwinds, and fully loaded touring significantly easier while keeping a natural pedalling feel. The removable 750Wh battery gives exceptional range for full-day tours or multiple commutes between charges.
Shimano’s Deore XT 1x12 drivetrain delivers dependable shifting with a wide gear range for mountain climbs, rolling countryside, and urban streets, and powerful 4-piston Shimano Deore XT hydraulic disc brakes (with a 203mm front rotor) inspire confidence in any weather, appropriate for stopping a loaded bike. An 80mm SR Suntour suspension fork (with hydraulic lockout), a suspension seatpost, ergonomic grips, and a touring gel saddle maximise comfort over long distances.
The E-Tour is factory-equipped for touring: puncture-resistant Schwalbe Marathon E-Plus tyres, integrated 150-lux LED lighting, full-length mudguards, a reinforced rear rack compatible with touring panniers, multiple bottle and accessory mounts, a kickstand, a chain guard, a bell, a USB-C charging port, and frame-lock compatibility. Paired with the Bosch eBike Flow app, the Smart System adds navigation, ride statistics, battery monitoring, customisable modes, and over-the-air software updates.

How far can I ride on one charge?+
With the 750Wh battery, up to 170 km (106 miles) in Eco mode under ideal conditions, with less in higher modes (up to 135 km Tour, 115 km Auto, 90 km Sport, 70 km Turbo). Real range varies with terrain, rider and luggage weight, and conditions, and a fully-loaded bike will see less; see the Range, motor & smart system tab.
Can I carry camping equipment and panniers?+
Yes. The reinforced rear touring rack supports compatible panniers and touring luggage, and the frame has multiple mounting points for accessories and bottle cages. The bike is rated to 160 kg including rider and luggage (our highest capacity). For heavily loaded tours, count your weight plus all luggage against that total.
Is the battery removable?+
Yes. The Bosch PowerTube battery can be removed for convenient charging (at accommodation on tour, or indoors) or for security when parking.
Is it comfortable for rides lasting several hours?+
Absolutely, that is what it is designed for. The upright geometry, 80mm suspension fork, suspension seatpost, ergonomic cockpit, and touring gel saddle are chosen to maximise comfort over full-day and multi-day rides.
Can I use it for commuting as well?+
Yes. Although built for touring, it is fully capable as a premium commuter, particularly for longer daily distances. If your riding is mostly shorter urban commutes, our E-Commute is optimised for that at a lower price and weight, worth comparing.
Does it require a licence?+
In most regions, a 250W pedal-assist e-bike that complies with local speed limits does not require a driver's licence or registration, but e-bike laws vary by country and region (and can differ between countries on a cross-border tour), so always verify the rules where you ride. How much assembly is required?+
The bike arrives approximately 90% assembled and fully equipped. Final installation of the handlebars, front wheel, pedals, and seatpost is required, typically 30 to 60 minutes. Tools, instructions, and the Bosch CX Smart System and eBike Flow app setup guides are included.
What warranty is included?+
