Built to descend, capable enough to climb

The Ryden Enduro X is built for riders who want to push their limits on the most demanding mountain trails. Whether you are racing enduro events, riding alpine terrain, or spending weekends in bike parks, the Enduro X offers the confidence and durability needed for aggressive riding.

Its advanced Toray T800 carbon frame is paired with a four-bar linkage suspension platform delivering 165mm of rear travel. Combined with a 170mm RockShox ZEB Ultimate fork, the bike absorbs large impacts while maintaining traction and control over technical terrain. This is full suspension built for the rough stuff: rock gardens, steep chutes, drops, and high-speed descents.

The Shimano XT 1x12 drivetrain provides dependable shifting across an extremely wide gear range, letting you pedal efficiently between stages while staying ready to attack the next descent. Shimano XT four-piston brakes with oversized 203mm rotors front and rear deliver powerful, controlled braking even on long, steep downhill sections.

A 170mm dropper post, aggressive front-and-rear-specific Maxxis tyres, an 800mm carbon handlebar, and tubeless-ready carbon wheels complete a package designed for riders who demand speed, control, and reliability on the way down.

How it fits in the Ryden mountain range: the Enduro X is our most descending-focused bike, built for a different kind of riding than our XC Pro or Trail hardtails. The XC Pro is a lightweight race bike (100mm travel, built to climb and race); the Trail 100 and Trail 200 are all-round trail hardtails (100 to 120mm, built for recreational riding); the Enduro X is the full-suspension, long-travel machine (170/165mm) built for aggressive descending and enduro racing. It is not a better mountain bike than the others; it is built for the steepest, roughest, most demanding terrain, and it trades some climbing efficiency and low weight to get there. If you mostly climb and ride fast on smoother trails, the XC Pro or a Trail bike will suit you better; if you live for technical descents and bike parks, the Enduro X is built for you.

Q: Who is the Ryden Enduro X designed for?

A (Ryden team): The Enduro X is designed for experienced mountain bikers, enduro racers, and riders tackling steep, rocky, and technical terrain. It is our most descending-capable bike, built for aggressive riding and bike parks.

What is an enduro mountain bike?+

An enduro mountain bike is built for aggressive descending while remaining capable of pedalling efficiently to the top of the next trail or race stage. Enduro races typically time only the downhill sections while requiring riders to complete untimed climbs between stages, so an enduro bike needs to descend like a near-downhill bike but still climb under its own power. The Enduro X's long-travel suspension and slack-but-steep geometry are built for exactly that balance.

How is it different from the Ryden XC Pro?+

They are built for opposite ends of the mountain-bike spectrum. The XC Pro prioritizes lightweight climbing efficiency and racing speed with 100mm of travel (10.4 kg, built to go up fast). The Enduro X features long-travel full suspension (170mm front / 165mm rear), more aggressive geometry, and heavier-duty components for demanding descents (14.6 kg, built to come down fast). Choose the XC Pro to race and climb; choose the Enduro X to descend aggressively and ride bike parks. They are different disciplines, not better or worse versions of each other.

How much suspension travel does it have?+

There is 170mm of front travel (RockShox ZEB Ultimate fork) and 165mm of rear travel (four-bar linkage with a RockShox Super Deluxe Select+ shock), making it suitable for aggressive trail riding, enduro racing, and bike parks.

Is the bike suitable for downhill riding?+

Yes, it excels on steep descents, technical trails, jumps, rock gardens, and enduro race stages. It is also efficient enough to pedal uphill under your own power, which a dedicated downhill bike is not. Think of it as bridging the gap between trail bikes and downhill bikes: hugely capable descending, while still climbable. For lift-only, full-on downhill racing, a dedicated downhill bike would go further, but for the vast majority of aggressive riding, the Enduro X is built to handle it.

Does it include a dropper seatpost?+

Yes. A fully integrated 170mm dropper post is included as standard, no need to buy one separately. The dropper lets you drop the saddle out of the way for descents and raise it for climbs at the push of a lever, which is essential for aggressive riding.

Is it tubeless compatible?+

Yes. Both the carbon wheelset and the Maxxis tyres are tubeless-ready, which lets you run lower pressures for grip and reduces pinch-flat risk on hard impacts, important for aggressive terrain.

How much assembly is required?+

The bike arrives approximately 90% assembled with the dropper post fitted. Final installation of the handlebars, front wheel, and pedals, plus suspension setup (setting fork and shock pressures to your weight), is required. We recommend setting suspension sag carefully, or having a shop help, to get the most from the bike.

What warranty is included?+

Lifetime warranty on the carbon frame, 5-year warranty on the rear suspension linkage, 2-year warranty on suspension components (fork and rear shock), and 2-year warranty on drivetrain and brakes. The fork and shock need periodic servicing per the manufacturers’ schedules to keep their warranty valid. Full terms in our Warranty Policy.

Why should I choose the Ryden Enduro X?+

The Enduro X is the most capable mountain bike in the Ryden lineup for aggressive riding. Its carbon frame, long-travel suspension, Shimano XT drivetrain, four-piston brakes, included dropper post, and progressive geometry are engineered for maximum confidence on technical descents while retaining the ability to climb under your own power. It bridges the gap between trail and downhill bikes.
