Our BMX range

What we supply.

Three category arms covering the riding disciplines that actually drive shop sales. We’ve kept trim variations tight inside each category so your shop carries a clean SKU range and your specialty retailers see the differentiation they expect between entry and serious trims.

Freestyle BMX

Hi-tensile steel (entry) or chromoly (mid+) frame · 20" wheels · Sealed bearings throughout · Mid or Spanish BB · U-brake rear · Front brake mount removable · Stunt pegs supplied or available

Park, street, and flatland use. The volume category for general shops and the credibility category for specialty retailers.

Race BMX

Aluminium frame · Race geometry fork · Single-speed · Rear caliper brake only (no front, race-legal) · Available in 20" Pro, 20" Pro XL, and 24" Cruiser

Lightweight race BMX built for track racing, not park or street use.

Dirt jump BMX

Reinforced chromoly frame · 20" or 26" wheels · Higher front-end clearance · Sealed bearings · Single-speed (most models)

Burlier BMX for trail and pump track use. The crossover product between BMX and short-travel MTB.

Why wholesale BMX through us

A supplier that builds BMX as BMX, not as a small bicycle.

Spec depth across trim levels

Sealed bearings throughout. Mid or Spanish bottom brackets at the trims that warrant them. Removable brake mounts where the riding profile prefers them. Spec decisions made for BMX, not borrowed from kids' bikes.

Wholesale pricing that protects your margin

Direct-from-manufacturer wholesale pricing without an extra import layer compressing your margin. Tier pricing improves as your volume grows.

Chromoly availability at honest trim points

Full chromoly frame, fork, and bars at the trim points specialty retailers expect them, not as a marketing line on entry models. We don't print "chromoly" on a hi-tensile bike.

Private label and skate-park-friendly

Private-label runs available from 100 units per model. Skate park, action-sports retail, and scene-team partnerships welcome at higher volumes with consistent spec across the order.

Build your shop’s own BMX line

Your name on bikes the scene already trusts your shop for.

BMX is one of the most brand-conscious cycling categories, and a specialty shop carrying its own private-label line signals authority in a way few other categories match. Park grom rides a Ryden-built bike with your shop’s name on it; six other kids at the park notice; your customer pipeline is two seasons deep before you’ve placed another order. We extend the same spec standards to your branded SKUs as our own range. Private-label BMX starts at 100 units per model, with 3 weeks to first sample and 2–3 months from sample approval.

Specifications and how they earn the price points

BMX specifications.

BMX occupies a regulatory category that’s lighter on certification load than other bike categories because BMX bikes generally ship without reflectors, lights, or mounting provisions that other standards mandate. EN 14766 (MTB) and EN 14764 (city) explicitly exclude BMX, and the BMX-specific portions of CPSC 16 CFR Part 1512 are narrower than for other bike types. What this means in practice: the regulatory floor is lower, but the load floor the bike has to survive is dramatically higher than any other bicycle category. The spec sheet does the work the regulation doesn’t.

Frame material

Entry trim is hi-tensile steel; we say so on the spec sheet rather than dressing it up. Hi-tensile is appropriate for occasional riders and grom progression but won’t survive serious park use. Mid-trim and above is full chromoly (4130 chromoly steel)frame, fork, and bars, which is the BMX-credible construction at every price point above entry. We don’t ship bikes with chromoly down tubes and hi-tensile rear triangles labelled as “chromoly” anywhere on the spec sheet.

Bottom bracket

Entry trim uses American bottom bracket as a cost decision. Mid-trim moves to Mid BB; higher trim uses Spanish BB. Each is a sealed-bearing system; the difference is the bottom bracket shell size and the bearing diameter, which matters for both stiffness and the ability to fit aftermarket cranks. Specialty retailers ask this question first, so the spec sheet answers it first.

Bearings

Sealed cartridge bearings throughout (hubs, headset, bottom bracket) on every trim, including entry. Unsealed bearings in BMX are a false economy; they fail within weeks of serious use and become an immediate warranty conversation.

Brakes

Freestyle and dirt jump models ship with rear U-brake standard. Front brake mount is removable on freestyle models for riders who run front-brakeless setups (preserving the option without the brake taking up scene space). Race models ship with rear caliper brake only, front brakeless, per BMX race standard. Hand brake levers sized and positioned per the discipline.

Wheels and rims

20" wheel size standard on freestyle, 20" Pro (longer top tube), Pro XL (longer still), and 24" Cruiser available on race. Dirt jump runs 20" or 26" depending on model. Rims are double-wall on every trim above entry; aftermarket cassette hub compatibility on the wheels where the trim warrants it.

What you won’t find in our BMX range at launch

Flatland-specific BMX (a sub-discipline with extremely specific geometry that needs its own development), full carbon BMX (a luxury sub-category we’d rather not enter on launch volume), or e-BMX (which exists as a concept but carries the e-bike regulatory load we’ve discussed in the e-bike page; outside scope until that category is broader for us).

Operational realities

BMX ships small and assembles simple.

01

Freight is small-box, dense-pallet, lowest per-unit of any bike

BMX ships boxed and palletised, with the smallest box dimensions of any bicycle category we wholesale. Pallet density runs higher than any adult bike, which means per-unit freight is lower than the adult categories and meaningfully lower than the MTB or e-bike categories. International freight from the origin port is quoted per shipment alongside your initial quote.

02

Packing is durable-bike protection, not elaborate

BMX bikes are durable and ship with less elaborate protection than other categories require. Frame protection at contact points, bars rotated and secured, and pegs (where supplied) packaged inside the box. Every shipment documented with photographs before dispatch.

03

Assembly is simple, with BMX-specific torque values

BMX bikes arrive with bars rotated for box clearance, pedals off, front wheel attached on most models (smaller wheel size makes front-wheel-on shipping freight-efficient), and pegs in the box if the model includes them. Your mechanic straightens and torques the bars, installs the pedals, fits pegs if requested, and runs the brake check (rear brake only on most models). Spec includes BMX-specific torque values that differ from MTB or road bike values; we supply the chart per model.

Common BMX wholesale questions

What specialty buyers actually ask.

At what trim level does chromoly start in your range?

Mid-trim. Entry is hi-tensile steel, labelled as such. We don't ship hi-tensile bikes with "chromoly" anywhere on the spec sheet.

Do your bikes ship with sealed bearings at entry trim?

Yes. Sealed cartridge bearings throughout (hubs, headset, bottom bracket) on every trim including entry. Unsealed bearings in BMX fail within weeks of serious use.

What bottom bracket standard do you use?

American on entry, Mid on mid-trim, Spanish on higher trim. Each is sealed-bearing. The progression matters for aftermarket crank fitment, which specialty retailers ask first.

Can the front brake mount be removed on freestyle models?

Yes. Front brake mount is removable on freestyle models to preserve the option for riders who run front-brakeless without leaving unused mount tabs.

Do race BMX models ship without front brakes?

Yes. Race BMX ships rear caliper brake only, front brakeless, per BMX race standard.

What sizes are your race BMX available in?

20" Pro, 20" Pro XL, and 24" Cruiser. Top tube lengths confirmed per model in your quote.

Do you supply pegs with freestyle BMX?

Pegs are supplied in the box on freestyle trims where standard practice includes them, and available as a no-charge add-on for any freestyle model where they're not standard.

Do you supply flatland-specific BMX?

Not at launch. Flatland geometry is specific enough that the sub-discipline needs its own development; we'd rather build into it properly than supply a generalist freestyle model marketed as flatland.

Do you supply carbon BMX or e-BMX?

Not at launch. Carbon is a luxury sub-category outside our launch volume; e-BMX carries the e-bike regulatory load that keeps it out of scope until our e-bike category is broader.

What's the warranty on wholesale BMX?

Frames: [2 years against manufacturing defects] for the original purchaser. Components: warranty per manufacturer terms, typically 1 year on parts. Warranty doesn't cover damage from intended use of the bike beyond reasonable wear, which on BMX is wide. Specialty retailers understand this; we state it on the warranty card.

How are BMX bikes packed and what is the freight advantage?

BMX ships in the smallest boxes of any bicycle category we wholesale. Pallet density runs higher than adult bikes; per-unit freight is lower than MTB or e-bike. Documentation includes pre-dispatch shipment photographs.

Can you quote consistent paint and spec for a scene team or skate park partnership order?

Yes. Scene team and skate park partnership quotes at higher volumes get consistent paint code, graphics, and component spec across the order. Tell us the partnership scope in the quote.

What spare parts do you supply for BMX models?

Fast-moving BMX consumables (grips, pegs, sprockets, brake pads, sealed bearings, headsets) are stocked separately and quoted alongside your bike order. Frame and fork replacements available for warranty cases.

Ready to stock BMX properly?

Chromoly at the trim points it should be, sealed bearings throughout, spec depth specialty retailers expect. Reply within 2 business days.
