Our apparel range

What we supply.

Eight sub-categories covering cycling apparel from warm-weather race kit to deep-winter touring layers. We've structured the range around the apparel layers your customers genuinely wear and the temperature ranges they ride in, with three fit profiles available across the volume sub-categories and inclusive sizing across the catalog.

Jerseys

Short-sleeve, long-sleeve, and sleeveless jerseys · Race / club / recreational fit across most SKUs · Typically three rear pockets · Reflective accents on selected SKUs · Lightweight / mid-weight / thermal fabric weights

Men's, women's, and unisex styling across the range.

Bibs and bib shorts

Bib shorts with shoulder straps (no waistband) · Multiple chamois options by ride duration (3-hour, 6-hour, all-day) and gender anatomy · Compression panels · Mesh upper sections · Three fit profiles

The category most cycling performance shops stock as their volume apparel item.

Cycling shorts (waistband)

Traditional-waistband cycling shorts (elastic or drawstring) instead of bib straps · Same chamois options as bib shorts

For customers who prefer a waistband for casual riding or comfort outside cycling-specific situations.

Base layers

Lightweight base layers for moisture management and temperature regulation · Short-sleeve, long-sleeve, and sleeveless · Synthetic moisture-wicking (volume standard), merino wool, and selected bamboo-blend SKUs

Worn under jerseys; merino adds warmth, temperature regulation, and antimicrobial performance.

Arm and leg warmers

Removable warmers that extend short-sleeve jerseys or shorts into full coverage for temperature transitions · Lightweight, insulated, and thermal tiers · Knee warmers as a separate sub-product

Slip onto bare arms or legs for cool morning starts and changing conditions.

Jackets and gilets

Wind-resistant gilets, mid-weight spring/autumn jackets, and insulated thermal jackets · Water-resistant and fully waterproof options · Reflective accents on most SKUs

Gilets (sleeveless jackets) for cool conditions and racing; jackets for weather protection and warmth.

Winter-specific apparel

Insulated jackets with thermal lining · Thermal bibs and tights · Waterproof / water-resistant outer layers · Sealed-seam construction on the waterproof tier

Designed for sustained riding in cold and wet conditions; winter cycling specialty retailers stock this separately.

Cycling socks

Ankle, crew, and knee-high cuff heights · Lightweight / mid-weight / thermal weights · Synthetic, merino wool, and blend materials · Compression versions · Reflective accents on commuter SKUs

Completes the apparel kit and sells in volume.

Why wholesale apparel through us

A wholesale bike apparel supplier with sizing consistency you can stand behind.

Standardized sizing across the supplier base

Apparel sizing varies wildly across cycling apparel suppliers, a size medium jersey from one supplier can fit closer to a size small from another. We've standardized sizing across our supplier base so a size medium jersey on one Ryden SKU fits the same body as a size medium on another SKU across the range. This operational commitment simplifies your customer recommendations and reduces fit-related returns.

Wholesale pricing on a category with strong margin

Direct-from-supplier wholesale pricing on a category where retail margin is structurally strong. Cycling apparel carries good margin because customers shop on fit, fabric, and pad quality more than on price. Tier pricing improves as your volume grows.

Brand resale + your-brand private label

Brand-name apparel (where the brand permits wholesale resale) alongside our Ryden-branded apparel range. Apparel is among the strongest private-label categories, customers shop on fit, fabric, and chamois quality more than on brand. Your shop's branded apparel becomes part of how customers identify with your shop over time.

Three fit profiles plus multiple chamois options

Three fit profiles (race, club, recreational) across most SKUs, because the same body shape needs different garments for different riding intensities. Multiple chamois options (3-hour, 6-hour, all-day pads) for both men's and women's anatomy, because chamois choice matters more than any other shorts/bibs spec. Both are operational commitments that distinguish a serious apparel supplier.

Build your shop's own apparel range

Your brand on the apparel customers wear at every ride and event.

Cycling apparel is among the strongest private-label categories in the entire wholesale catalog. The reasons compound: customers shop apparel on fit, fabric, and chamois quality more than on brand, most riders couldn't name the brand of their everyday jersey without checking. The engineering depth required for quality apparel (pattern design, fabric selection, chamois construction, seam construction) is approachable at private-label scale with the right supplier. And apparel carries strong margin at retail because customers commit to specific products based on fit rather than price-shopping.

Your shop's branded jersey on a customer's ride becomes the kit they identify with your shop, especially for shops with active group-ride programs or local cycling-community presence. We extend private label across jerseys, bibs/shorts (with multiple chamois options), base layers, jackets/gilets, arm/leg warmers, and socks at 25 units per SKU, with 3-week sample turnaround and 2–3 months from sample sign-off. Custom event / club / corporate branding is operationally ready at launch, sports clubs ordering team kit, charity-ride organizers branding event jerseys, corporate accounts ordering branded apparel for staff events. Custom-branding lead times are typically shorter than full private-label development; the quote stage confirms specifics for your event.

Specifications, sizing, fit, and chamois

Specs that determine fit, comfort, and performance.

Cycling apparel is evaluated on a sophisticated set of variables that go beyond general apparel sizing. Cycling fits differ from general apparel fits because the riding position changes body proportions, the rider's shoulders are forward, the arms extended, the back curved, the legs cycling. Apparel that fits well off the bike often fits poorly on it, and vice versa. The specs that matter:

Sizing, chest, waist, hip, and inseam measurements

Cycling apparel sizing uses body measurements rather than general apparel sizing categories. Our size chart maps chest, waist, hip, and inseam measurements to sizes XS through 3XL across men’s and women’s gender variants, standardized across the supplier base, a size medium jersey on one Ryden SKU fits the same body as a size medium on another. Customers measuring once shop confidently across the range.

Fit profiles, race, club, recreational

Cycling apparel fit varies more than general apparel fit because the riding position affects how the garment sits on the body. Race fit is tight and aerodynamic, designed to minimize wind drag during high-speed riding, the same body in race fit wears a smaller nominal size than in recreational fit. Club fit is moderate, comfortable for serious recreational riders and group rides without sacrificing too much aero performance. Recreational fit is looser, more comfortable for casual riding, longer in body length, and less compressive. Fit profile is named per SKU.

Men's, women's, and unisex SKUs

Men's apparel is cut for typical male proportions (longer torso, narrower hips). Women's apparel is cut for typical female proportions (often shorter torso, wider hips, accommodating bust). Unisex apparel uses neutral cuts that work across body types. Most jerseys and base layers come in all three gender variants; bibs and shorts come in men's and women's because of chamois anatomical considerations. Gender variant is named per SKU.

Chamois, the cushioned pad in shorts and bibs

The chamois pad is the most product-evaluation-dense aspect of cycling shorts and bibs, and the variable that most affects rider comfort over long rides. It varies along three axes, ride duration, gender anatomy, and density/shape, each named per SKU.

Chamois, ride duration

Different pads are designed for different ride durations. A 3-hour chamois uses lighter padding for shorter rides, where bulk under the rider would feel excessive. A 6-hour chamois uses moderate padding for typical century rides. An all-day chamois uses heavier padding with anatomical density variation for sustained multi-hour riding. Customers shopping shorts/bibs should match the chamois to their typical ride duration.

Chamois, gender anatomy

Men's and women's chamois are designed around different pelvic structures. Men's chamois typically has narrower padding focused under the sit bones with relief channels along the perineum. Women's chamois typically has wider rear padding (matching wider average female sit-bone spacing), a shorter nose, and more prominent anatomical cutouts. Chamois gender is named per SKU.

Chamois, density and shape

Padding density varies by ride duration, too soft and the pad compresses inconsistently and creates pressure points; too firm and it doesn't cushion adequately. Padding-shape variation across the pad addresses different pressure points (sit bones, perineum, leg interface). Density and shape are named per SKU.

Fabric weights and seasonal use

Cycling apparel fabric weights vary across seasonal use: lightweight fabrics for hot weather (highly breathable, fast-wicking), mid-weight for moderate temperatures (balanced breathability and warmth), thermal for cool conditions (heavier knit, sometimes with fleece backing), and insulated for deep winter (thermal lining, sometimes windproof or water-resistant). Each SKU is named with its intended temperature range.

Fabric technology, moisture management, sun protection, antimicrobial

Modern cycling fabrics include performance features beyond the basic weave: moisture-wicking technology (drawing sweat from skin to the outer surface for evaporation), UPF sun-protection ratings (UPF 30+ on selected SKUs), antimicrobial treatments (resisting bacterial growth and odor in heavy-use apparel), and four-way stretch (for fit accommodation across riding positions). Each technology is named per SKU.

Compression panels

Bibs and shorts often include compression panels in the leg area for muscle support during sustained riding. Compression levels vary, light (comfort-focused), moderate (typical performance), and heavy (race-focused). Compression level is named per SKU.

Mesh upper sections on bibs

Bib shorts often have mesh upper sections (above the chamois area, extending up over the shoulders) for breathability. Mesh density and coverage area vary across SKUs.

Jersey pocket configurations

Cycling jerseys typically have three rear pockets, two side pockets and one center pocket. Pocket depth, opening width, and closure mechanism (zippered versus open) vary, and some jerseys include a small zippered valuables pocket within the rear pocket area. Pocket configuration is named per SKU.

Jacket and gilet waterproofing levels

Cycling jackets vary in weather protection. Water-resistant jackets handle light rain and brief weather exposure. Highly water-resistant jackets handle sustained rain with taped seams. Fully waterproof jackets use welded or heat-sealed seams with waterproof zippers for serious wet-weather riding. The same waterproofing terminology applies as on the bags page; waterproofing level is named per SKU.

Reflective accents and visibility

Many jerseys, jackets, and accessories include reflective accents for low-light visibility. Reflective coverage ranges from minimum (small accents) to high (significant reflective panels), named per SKU.

Sock cuff heights and material weights

Cycling socks vary in cuff height (ankle, crew, knee-high) and material weight (lightweight summer, mid-weight, thermal winter). Material types: synthetic blends (the volume standard), merino wool (warmer, temperature-regulating), and bamboo blends (selected SKUs). Compression versions are available. Each is named per SKU.

What you won't find in our apparel range at launch

Skinsuits and triathlon-specific aerodynamic apparel are on the consolidated apparel and safety page (a different page in the catalog), not on this page. Smart apparel with integrated electronics, heating, or connectivity is outside scope at launch. Specialty performance apparel for time-trial use (skinsuits aside) is outside scope. Adaptive apparel for adaptive cycling is outside our launch scope; we'd refer buyers to specialty suppliers in that category.

Operational realities named up front

Light to ship, bulky in volume.

01

Freight: light per unit, bulky in volume

Apparel ships light per unit but bulky in volume. Jerseys, bibs, and shorts pack reasonably efficiently; jackets and winter apparel pack larger because of insulation volume. Per-SKU freight is moderate; reorders move by parcel courier for smaller volumes and pallet for larger orders. Combining apparel orders with other category orders typically consolidates efficiently. International freight from the origin port is quoted per shipment.

02

Packing: retail-ready, with branded-apparel handling for events

Apparel ships in retail-ready packaging where it's sold through to end customers (boxed or bagged with size labels, a hangtag with care instructions, and brand information). Custom event / club / corporate branded apparel ships with appropriate branding handling, branded apparel is sometimes shipped folded with packing slips identifying the size and colour distribution for the event organizer's distribution to participants.

03

Service: fit verification at point of sale is the moment that matters

Apparel service is minimal, apparel either fits or doesn't, and replacement is the standard rather than repair. Customer fit verification at point of sale matters: customers should try the apparel in their typical riding position (or close to it), verify fit across chest, waist, hip, and inseam, and confirm the fit profile (race vs club vs recreational) matches their riding intensity. Custom-branding service involves artwork approval, sample verification, and production scheduling, handled at the quote stage rather than at the workshop bench.

Apparel FAQ

Common apparel wholesale questions.

Is sizing standardized across your supplier base?

Yes. A size medium jersey on one Ryden SKU fits the same body as a size medium on another. This is a deliberate operational commitment that simplifies your customer recommendations and reduces fit-related returns.

What size range do you supply?

XS through 3XL across the range, with inclusive sizing across men's, women's, and unisex SKUs.

What's the difference between race fit, club fit, and recreational fit?

Race fit is tight and aerodynamic for high-speed riding (the same body wears a smaller nominal size in race fit than in recreational fit). Club fit is moderate for serious recreational riders. Recreational fit is looser for casual riding. The same nominal size fits differently across the three profiles; fit is named per SKU.

What chamois options do you supply?

Three chamois options by ride duration: 3-hour chamois (lighter padding for shorter rides), 6-hour chamois (moderate padding for typical century rides), and all-day chamois (heavier padding with anatomical density variation for sustained riding). Each is available in men's and women's anatomical designs.

What's the difference between men's and women's chamois?

Men's chamois typically has narrower padding focused under the sit bones with relief channels along the perineum. Women's chamois typically has wider rear padding (matching wider average female sit-bone spacing), a shorter nose, and more prominent anatomical cutouts. The differences reflect real anatomical differences and matter significantly for rider comfort.

Do you supply winter-specific apparel?

Yes. Winter cycling apparel including insulated jackets with thermal lining, thermal bibs and tights, waterproof and water-resistant outer layers, and sealed-seam construction on the waterproof tier, designed for sustained riding in cold and wet conditions.

Do you supply custom-branded jerseys for cycling clubs and events?

Yes. Custom branding for cycling clubs, charity-ride organizers, corporate event procurement, and team kit is operationally ready. Custom-branding lead times are typically shorter than full private-label development; the quote stage confirms the artwork process, MOQ, and lead times for your event.

What's the typical lead time for custom-branded apparel orders?

Custom-branding lead time depends on artwork complexity, quantity, and current production capacity, typically 4–6 weeks from artwork approval to delivery. The quote stage confirms the lead time for your specific order.

Do you supply skinsuits, time-trial apparel, and triathlon-specific items?

Skinsuits and triathlon-specific items are on the consolidated apparel and safety page rather than this page. The architectural decision separates them because they have specialty buyer audiences distinct from the main apparel category. See the cross-link to the consolidated page below.

What fabric technologies do you supply?

Moisture-wicking fabrics across the range, UPF sun-protection ratings (UPF 30+) on selected SKUs, antimicrobial treatments on selected SKUs, and four-way stretch for fit accommodation. Each is named per SKU.

Do you supply both synthetic and merino wool base layers?

Yes. Synthetic moisture-wicking base layers (the volume standard) and merino wool base layers (warmer, temperature-regulating, antimicrobial). Selected bamboo-blend SKUs are also stocked.

What waterproofing levels do your jackets and gilets carry?

Water-resistant (light rain, brief exposure), highly water-resistant (sustained rain, taped seams), and fully waterproof (welded seams, waterproof zippers, sustained wet-weather riding). Waterproofing level is named per SKU.

Do you supply socks in cycling-specific designs and weights?

Yes. Cycling-specific socks across ankle, crew, and knee-high cuff heights; lightweight, mid-weight, and thermal weights; and synthetic, merino wool, and blend materials. Compression versions are available.

What's the warranty on wholesale apparel?

Apparel typically carries manufacturing-defect coverage on stitching, fabric integrity, chamois construction, and component bonding for a defined period. Wear from normal use (fabric pilling, colour fading from UV exposure, normal pad compression) is not covered. Customer damage from misuse, machine washing beyond care instructions, or modification is not covered.

Can you supply replacement chamois pads for warranty service?

Generally no. Cycling shorts and bibs are constructed as integrated garments; chamois replacement isn't a standard repair. Defective garments are replaced rather than repaired.

Can you supply a starter apparel inventory for a new shop?

Yes. The quote stage confirms a starter inventory based on your shop's target customer mix (road, MTB, mixed, commuter) and the typical size and fit-profile distribution your customer base shops.

Ready to stock apparel with sizing your customers can rely on?

Three fit profiles, XS to 3XL, men's / women's / unisex, and multiple chamois options by ride duration and gender. Standardized sizing across the supplier base. Reply within 2 business days, Mon–Fri.
