Our hybrid and city range

What we supply.

This is the volume category for most independent shops worldwide, and we’re treating it that way. Four models that cover the customers who ride to commute, to ride fit, and to potter to the shops. We’re keeping the range tight at launch so each model is genuinely well-supplied, not spread thin across twelve trim variants.

Urban commuter

Aluminium frame · Hydraulic disc · 700c · 35mm tires · Integrated rack and mudguard mounts · S to XL

The volume model for shops in cities with cycling infrastructure.

Fitness hybrid

Aluminium frame · Hydraulic disc · 700c · 32mm tires · Flat bar · S to XL

Lighter, faster on tarmac. The friendlier on-ramp for new road riders.

Comfort hybrid

Aluminium frame · Hydraulic disc · 700c · 45mm tires · Suspension fork · Upright position · S to XL

The bike customers buy when their first criterion is "I want to be comfortable."

Step-through commuter

Aluminium step-through frame · Hydraulic disc · 700c · 35mm tires · Same components as urban commuter · S to XL

Critical for older customers, riders in skirts or formal wear, and accessibility-focused fleet operators.

Why wholesale commuter and city through us

A category-specific supplier, not a generalist with bikes on the side.

EN 14764 standards built in

Every hybrid and city bike we supply meets EN 14764 (Europe) and CPSC 16 CFR Part 1512 (US) where the destination requires it. Documentation travels with your shipment, not after a follow-up email.

Wholesale pricing that protects your margin

Direct-from-manufacturer wholesale pricing without an extra import layer compressing your margin. Tier pricing improves as your volume grows.

Rack and mudguard ready

Every model ships with factory-set eyelets for racks and mudguards. Customers expect to bolt accessories on; we don't make your mechanic drill frames.

Private label and fleet-friendly

Private-label runs available from 75 units per model. Fleet and rental quotes available at higher volumes with consistent paint and component spec across the order.

Build your shop’s own commuter line

Your name on the bike your customers ride every day.

Commuter bikes are ridden in public five days a week. Your shop’s name on the down tube becomes free advertising every time a customer rides past someone considering a bike. This is the category where private label compounds fastest. We handle frame, paint, and component spec; your shop signs off the sample and stocks the result. Private-label hybrid and city starts at 75 units per model, with 3 weeks to first sample and 2–3 months from sample approval.

Specifications and standards

Hybrid and city specifications and standards.

EN 14764 covers city and trekking bicycles in the EU and is the standard your shipments to European retailers need to satisfy. It’s separate from EN 14781 (racing) and EN 14766 (MTB) because the duty cycle of a commuter bike differs from both: lower peak loads than an MTB, more cumulative cycles than a race road bike, and component requirements that prioritise daily reliability over peak performance. CPSC 16 CFR Part 1512 in the US applies across bicycle categories. We supply documentation for both with shipments to those markets.

On build: frames are aluminium across the launch range. Hydraulic disc brakes are standard because a commuter bike caught in wet weather with rim brakes is a stopping-distance problem, not a feature trade-off. Wheel size is 700c across all four models, because component commonality across the range reduces your shop’s spare-parts inventory burden. Tire widths run from 32mm on the fitness hybrid to 45mm on the comfort and step-through models, with every model accommodating mudguards at its stock tire width. Rack mounts use standard threaded eyelets; we ship every model with the eyelets in place rather than as a customer-paid retrofit.

What you won’t find in our hybrid and city range at launch

Belt drive, internal gear hubs, integrated lights and dynamos, or carbon frames. Internal gear hubs and belt drives are the right answer for a high-end commuter category, and we’ll build into them when the volume and the supplier QC justify the trim-level investment. Integrated lights and dynamos add weatherproofing and electrical-spec complexity that needs its own QC layer. Carbon doesn’t belong in a daily-use category at the retail price points this market expects.

What is included in the launch range is what a shop owner can confidently sell to a customer who said “I want a bike to ride to work and not think about it.” That’s the commercial brief for this category, and the spec sheet honours it.

Operational realities named up front

Commuter bikes ship like bikes, sell like accessories.

Three operational realities to know up front, because hiding them produces awkward emails the moment freight arrives.

01

Freight

Hybrid and city bikes ship boxed and palletised, not parceled. Box dimensions are similar to road bikes and smaller than MTBs, so freight per unit on a full pallet is more economical than either. International freight from the origin port is quoted per shipment alongside your initial quote so your landed cost is a known number before you commit. For fleet and rental orders at higher volumes, we can quote container shipping, which materially reduces per-unit freight.

02

Packing and transit

Standard bicycle packing with frame protection at contact points. Mudguards and racks ship in the box where the model includes them as standard; this saves your mechanic the install step and customers the wait. We document every shipment with photographs before dispatch.

03

Assembly at your shop

Commuter bikes arrive with handlebars rotated for box clearance, pedals off, and the front wheel disconnected. Mudguards and rack arms ship pre-mounted to the frame where possible; the eyelets they bolt into are factory-set, not field-drilled. Your shop's mechanic fits the front wheel, straightens and torques the bars, installs the pedals, and runs the brake bleed-check and shifting check. We supply assembly notes per model and a torque chart for the fasteners that matter.

Common hybrid and city wholesale questions

What buyers actually ask.

What certifications do you supply for hybrid and city bikes?

We supply EN 14764 documentation for shipments to the EU and CPSC 16 CFR Part 1512 documentation for shipments to the US. Other markets confirmed in your quote based on your destination.

Do all your hybrid and city models come with rack and mudguard mounts?

Yes. Every model ships with factory-set eyelets for racks and mudguards. We don't ask your mechanic to drill frames.

What tire widths do your models run, and can customers fit wider tires?

Stock widths run 32 to 45mm depending on model. Frame and mudguard clearance allows [+5 to 10mm over stock width] on each model; full tolerance confirmed per model in your quote.

Do you supply belt-drive or internal-gear-hub models?

Not at launch. Both are the right answer for a high-end commuter trim, and we'll build into them when supplier QC justifies the trim-level investment.

Do you supply e-commuter or e-city models?

Not at launch. E-bikes carry battery transport, motor warranty, and certification load that needs its own operational backing.

Can you quote a fleet or rental order with consistent paint and spec?

Yes. Fleet quotes at higher volumes get consistent paint code and component spec across the order. Tell us the use case in the quote and we'll structure the reply for fleet terms.

What's the warranty on wholesale hybrid and city bikes?

Frames: 5 years against manufacturing defects for the original purchaser. Components: warranty per manufacturer terms, typically 2 years on groupset and brakes, 1 year on wear items. Retailer claims go through us with the original invoice and a photo or video of the defect.

How are bikes packed for transit?

Boxed and palletised with frame protection at contact points. Mudguards and racks pre-mounted where the model includes them as standard. Every shipment documented with photographs before dispatch.

Do you supply assembly instructions and torque charts?

Yes, both. Assembly notes per model and a torque chart for the fasteners your mechanic verifies before the bike goes out.

Can I get a sample bike before committing to a wholesale or fleet run?

Yes. Sample bikes are available at sample pricing (typically 1.5× lowest tier rate). Sample cost is credited back against your first wholesale order of that model. For fleet runs with custom paint, we strongly recommend sampling before bulk production.
